So the holiday season is upon us yet again. Last year Vasilia and I visited Amsterdam, which was a great trip. This year we will be heading back to Vancouver to visit family. I have a new nephew there I want to visit, he’s especially cute.

I have some apprehension about the trip though because I’m not sure how well my son is going to handle the flight. I’ve always heard those babies screaming away as the flight descends, and being really fussy as the flight ascends. Just like it’s a good idea for us to drink water during the descent, we plan on having him drinking on the way down as well (but not water…you can use your imagination…). Also will he manage to sleep during the flight? This flight is going to be one of the longest flights I’ve ever taken, and with him in tow, it sure looks like it will be even longer and harder.
